Buzzard

Went up to Waring Green to see if the Waxwing and the Bullfinch were still around  this morning. The Bullfinch were very obliging but the Mistle Thrush kept flushing the Waxwing every time they tried to land on the Rowan .We had been there about 10 minutes when we saw a Buzzard flying from Lane Head direction being mobbed by two crows. I only managed to get one picture through the car window so I opogise for the very poor quality. It flew over in the direction of Bailiff Bridge and soon disappeared. Will try later for some Waxwing. There were approximately 74 there yesterday lunch time.

Nice one for the Buzzard and as you say the Thrush is very protective of the rowan tree
