Tree Sparrow Nest Box Cleaning and Repositioning

Message from Caroline......

If anyone would like to get involved we will be repositioning the nest boxes along Jay House Lane in Clifton from around 10am on Friday 19th November. We’ll be there until at least lunchtime and there are plenty to move. All are welcome so come along if you would like to get involved!

Thanks,
Caroline

Sorry that should have been preferred :)

Yeah sorry about that. It had to be a weekday to get the ladders and equipment up there.

Caroline, how many nests are there?
If there's a few I wouldn't mind taking them off your hands as they are useful for rearing tineid moths from as the larvae feed on the wool, hairs and feathers.

I know we supplied Andy with some nests from the Crags boxes and it produced some interesting records I believe so this is certainly worth supporting if possible.

I should have said I can also lend a hand tommorow if needed so long as there are enough nests available - say half a dozen or more.

I'm really sorry we can't make it due to a hospital appointment. Hope you have a good morning though. All the best.
