Bird Report update

The 2009 Halifax Bird Report has been sitting on my computer for a few weeks now, I am still awaiting the printers to give me a price, they have had 2 weeks to respond but Ive heard nothing. Just wonder if its worth looking somewhere else, or would it be better to wait until next year and bring out another double report 2009 and 2010 together, any thoughts are most welcome.

I'd definately favour a seperate 2009 and 2010 report. I'm not defending any printers, as that's obviously bad service, but this is a very busy time of year for them, so chasing them is sometimes necessary. If not, take it elsewhere!

I would be happy with a double report but don't mind either way!

As we are nearly at 2010 year end and the report will be for 2009 then if birders send there records in to Nick in good time at the end of this year (and on discs/programmes for downloading) then it could be possible to get a double report in another 6 months (is that a possibility Nick?).

The last double report was excellent value and there is a saving on cost I would imagine. (?)

I am happy though to go with the majority - either way is fine by me - I just appreciate so much work from everyone submitting records and especially Nick's marathon stint to pull all the info together. Such a comprehensive report is there not only for current information but also for future generations!!

Don't forget that double reports halve your income -unless you charge double.
