Website
Following a recent meeting with regard to the possibility of setting up a Halifax Birders website there will be a follow up get together to take this further, we are meeting at 8pm in the Shoulder of Mutton in Mytholmroyd tomorrow evening, all welcome.
If you go into Mytholmroyd from Halifax turn left over the bridge and head up Cragg Vale, the Shoulder is on your right just after going under the railway bridge. There may be a problem with your age however as I'm not sure as to the law re young people in pubs these days. Andy Huyton is checking, I'll send you a PM with the outcome.
This was discussed at the first meeting where it was decided that as it will be the website for the Halifax Birdwatchers Club it would be birds only, having said that there is no problem in providing links to other wildlife sites/blogs etc. Perhaps additional pages could be added in the future to cover other aspects of wildlife locally but basically this is planned as a birding site.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Nick, will the proposed site be just for birders and birds or will it extend to other forms of wildlife?
