Plovers - Jay House Lane

The Plover flock of c300 this morning contained plenty of Golden Plovers as well as Lapwings, prob ratio of 3:1 in favour of Lapwings. If the Golden were there yesterday I didn't notice them.

Hi Mick,

Go out of Brighouse on the A643 past Clifton. When you reach the entrance to Willow Valley Golf Club on your right there is a turn to the left which is Jay House Lane. The Plovers have been in the ploughed fields on the left a couple of hundred yards on the lane. It is quite good round there for farmland birds inc Tree Sparrows allegedly. If you carry on that road it takes you back to the Bradford road just outside Brighouse via a ford.
