Thank you John. Have you been to Blackstone Edge yet this year after your Wood Sand last year? There 2 days ago I flushed a flighty large pipit with white tail sides, and yesterday Simon Hitchen positively id'd a Water Pipit.
It's a long way from Bradshaw Peter. I've not managed it yet but it's always worth a visit
Good news with the Water Pipit (possibly your bird?). Wood Sand is a distant memory.. but what a day that was tks for reminding me. John
