Soil Hill

Another very lively morning on Soil Hill with 46 species recorded. The highlight was a cracking Pied Flycatcher on Taylor Lane, a patch tick for me. But other migrants were also in good numbers;

-2 Tree Pipit grounded

-Grasshopper Warbler reeling

-Sedge Warbler 

-Blackcap male

-19 Willow Warbler (6 Taylor Lane, 8 Summit Bushes, 3 North Slope, 2 Ned Hill Track)

-Great Spotted Woodpecker juv.
