No Snow buntings but 4 Whoopers, probably same birds as reported earlier over Baitings by PG.

Nice. I was up there trying to find the Snow Buntings again on Monday - local reports are that there are now 7 - and managed the sum total of 5 black headed gulls in about 3 hours.
Yes its hard work up on Byron Edge , I have been a couple of times this week ,but there are a couple of Wrens up there , 2 Stonechat , 1 peregrine , 1 Kestrel , 2 Carrion Crows , 9 Raven (Brian leesey) and the odd Reed Bunting....
We put some seed down in the area near the end of the drain - in the hope it might tempt in !
Checked again today - nothing doing (JM and AT)
