Roils Head Redstart

First Redstart of the autumn found today at Roils Head, looks like a newly fledged juvenile, as usual in the northern shelter belt.

Good find Nick.

Cute! That reminds me we saw a newly-fledged Robin in Scarr Wood (below the Albert Prom rocks, Halifax) on Saturday. Sadly it had a deformed foot. The other foot was all right.

It was doing well at find food, though, in the leaf-litter.
