Luddenden Dean

Cuckoo singing almost continuously this afternoon in the upper dean area.
No sign of any migrants other than a few Willow Warblers, a Chiffchaff by Jerusalem Farm, a Blackcap and a few Swallows.
Pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers excavating a hole in a dead beech tree in Wade Wood.
