Raptor
Just seen a what looked like a Harrier flying fairly high above Triangle this morning. Mobbed by 2 Carrion Crows (for size comparison).
I was in the garden, so no photos Dave I'm afraid. However I spoke to a friend who lives in Mill Bank and he also saw what he thinks was a HH yesterday morning. He said it was being mobbed and even though he saw it at a distance he was of the same opinion as me. I've never seen one in the wild but checked ID and it looked spot on. Going out today though up on the moorland above me to scout around.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Sounds interesting - did you manage any photos Brian ?
Think I saw one on 17/4, at Ripponden, but didn't get a good look, just caught sight of a white rump, as it glided past

Hunch paid off. Male Harrier seen for a good 2 minutes through binoculars. No photos (camera rubbish). It's there though.
