Morning stroll up to Soil Hill while it was sunny but
the wind was bitter and then it even snowed believe it
or not, any way it was quiet but busier than last time I
went and then took a drive up to dark & bleak Fly Flats.
Soil Hill-:
14 Skylark
2 Pheasant
2 Stock Dove
3 Crows
2 Goldfinch.
Fly Flats-:
2 Kestrel
8 Canada's
2 Greylag.

Sounds like Skylarks are moving in all around the area now Dave
It was good to hear some bird song up there at last as well.
Sky's shots very nice Dave. Stock Doves are looking really good at the moment - or is it that everything looks better with some sunshine. !!!
I think that's the answer Dave everything looks better in the sun unless your a snowman
Good skylark numbers there Dave.
Good skylark photos, one bird that seems to elude me whenever I have my camera! :)
Nice selection of photos Dave. Only saw my first skylark of the year earlier this week. And, I still haven't seen a meadow pipit in 2016.
Seen a few Meadow Pipits up on Soil Hill last week Chris and my first Pied Wagtail of the year down at Cromwell Bottom NR.
