Cold Edge

This afternoon
A Linnet flock of c70 were feeding on the new bankings to the top dam. A lovely weedy area for them and we looked for Twite in the flock without success.

Lots of mipits about as well
5 Whinchat together feeding on the area just above the top small pond
1 Little Grebe on the lower small pond
40 Canada Geese
A few Swallows still feeding young
2 Kestrels
3 Tufted Duck
1 Chiff-chaff
G V Whites, Peacock and Red Admiral butterfly's seen
