Do you have a photo of the Large Tortoiseshell, it's very rare indeed round these parts?
First meadow Browns of the year as well,,,very nice
Charlie, no photo but I've checked my notes and it was a small tortoiseshell. Apologies for the typo. A tatty looking specimen it was too.
It was pretty warm up there and there were lots of flowers in some of the meadows in the area.
It's always good to get a few butterflys Niall

Wildflower meadows take some beating at this time of year, they have something for everyone.
Loads Of Chimney Sweepers in Shibden valley this week, well worth keeping an eye out for............
