Cold Edge area

Cold Edge this afternoon - no sunshine today so no butterflies unlike yesterday
Pretty quiet but lots of Meadow Pipits (c100) , a few Linnets (c10) and Goldfinches (40+) on the weedy areas around the upper dam plus a phyllosc in the plantation near the lower dam.

Resident Swallows have really thinned out the last few days though some are still  feeding young at sites near Cold Edge
