There's also a couple of juv Grey wagtails on the same stretch of water just up from the Sports Centre but they are always too flighty to photograph.

Aye. I've seen the dipper(s) and the grey wags in this area a few times recently.
We get dippers and Gray wags outside work - on the Hebble brook near Sainsbury's in Halifax. Sometime the gray wags attack their reflections in the Car mirrors. Love the pictures by the way.
