Blustery conditions this morning but a single Spotted Flycatcher near Cromwell Bridge in the willows this was a bonus and still there when I left around 09.30.
2+ Reed Warblers
1 Whitethroat
3+ Chiff-chaff
2+ Willow warblers
3+ Blackcaps
2+ Garden Warblers
Several Reed Buntings plus other usual species
Over the ski lake 150+ Swallows, 50+ House Martins, 20+ Sand Martins and c40 Swifts
Park Wood Crem
Thanks to Ady I caught up with the Lesser Whitethroat singing in the big hedge and being chased by a male Blackcap mid morning. I can't believe this is my first Lesser Whitethroat for Calderdale(can't remember another one)!

Nice one Dave. Lesser Whitethroat used to be a common sight with plenty sightings from EGP but that was donkeys years ago.
My last sighting was in my garden August 1992.
Spotted Flys a good bird to get too, better check Back Lane where one seems to show each year.
BS.
