3 Swifts over mid- morning
Also this afternoon over 30 House Sparrows on the garden feeders etc. This is the highest count here for years. Looks like they have had a good breeding season with lots of juvs in the group. Anyone else noticed a good House Sparrow year in your area?

Yes Dave, there's a good sized flock of up to 40 House Sparrows on Lee Bottom Road. I don't recall there being this many in recent years.

We have dozens on the feeders most days. Highest single count around 30+.
They have steadily increased over the last 5 years.
Its the best year ever in Northowram with flocks of 66,35 and 25 counted yesterday with at least another 30 in the village its self.They have had at least 3 broods.
