Fly Flatts
This afternoon with NCD - we were fortunate that the rain and hail stopped but the blustery wind was hard work! 1 winter Sanderling as above 14 Ringed Plover 17 Dunlin 4 Common Sandpiper 6 Redshank 1 Snipe 3 L B B Gulls 1 Wheatear 2 Grey Partridge
You just had to get better photos of that Sanderling than I got yesterday didnt you Dave. What a cracking winter plumage bird that is. Problem is it stands out a mile, hope it keeps its head down or it will be raptor food. Top marks for braving it up there today, a true upland birder.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
