Elland GP Fri AM
Help with ID please not the usual warbler song it stayed in the treetops singing and this is the best I could do ,Warblers not my strongpoint
Not the best of angles!! A quick look shows the suggestion of a black cap? I guess you would have known this was a Blackcap though so it must be something else?
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

what was the song like? scratchy or more melodic?
Not a Blackcap,the song was melodic but not as sweet as a Willow Warbler,saw Mike Stead at L/S/W site and his best guess was Garden Warbler?
Doesn't look like a Garden Warbler, now I've seen the photo !
Thin bill is more typical of a Blackcap ??
