Undisclosed sites
For the duration of the breeding season please use "Undisclosed Site" for all scarce breeding birds and raptor sightings. Birds are at risk if potential breeding locations are revealed, as this is a public blog. Any raptors seen passing through the recording area can be published as normal. Thanks.

Hi all, as I can't post on here I thought I'd sneak my sighting under this topic as it's fairly relevant. Yesterday (13th) I saw from my house in Skircoat Green a ringtail harrier fly down the valley over Elland veering left towards Siddal where the white rump could clearly be seen as it dipped below the sky line.With sightings of Raven (twice), Buzzard, and Red Kite in the area over the last two years it's more like the welsh highlands than suburban Halifax.
