Common Swift at EGP
1 through this evening going W. 6 Blackcap and 2 Common Whitethroat also around. For the record I have recorded thus far a maximum count of 10 Willow Warbler and 8 Chiffchaff at this site on 22/4.
I know of another Hudds Birder that had one today near Ingbirchworth.
On a different note Lesser Whitethroats apppear to be turning up early in various locations in the Huddersfield Area. They have clearly been blown along from their wintering quarters by the easterlies we have experienced lately.
I keep on expecting one around the Bradley Hall Farm area as I have seen them further east along the River Calder.
David The birder (I must ask him his name) who reported the Whitethroats the other day at CB told Sue and I that he had Garden Warblers at the river side of the Lagoon on Friday Morning.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
