Walsden
Two dippers in the Calder near B&S Motors this morning - 'singing' to each other.
Me neither, Matt, but this was how it was described to me.
Hope to see a pair shortly nearer where I live i.e. in the Calder at the end of Strines Street (no, I don't live in the Calder!) with a pair of grey wagtails - but these have yet to be confirmed.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

It always seems somehow 'wrong' to see dippers singing! They just don;t strike me as a songbird.

Oh they definately sing, but it's a bird that just seems odd singing. I always think the same about pied wagtails, and dunnocks.
