Lower Gorple - 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Beautiful day, but little around, probably due to the volume of walkers. The photo is from the Pennine Bridleway to the south of Gorple, a path I've never explored before.
The last time I phoned the police with a very similar matter, the person on the other end of the phone described tha activity as 'not strictly illegal, and down to the discretion of the landowner'. Clearly this is incorrect, but it feels like banging your head against a wall.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

If you take this path up to the top of Lad Law in spring it is brilliant for moorland species.
Probably nothing around due to the Beagle hunt that was taking place at Walshaw Dean at this time. Me and Steve witnessed the pack chasing a hare.
I could see and hear that from where I was. There seemed to be 35-40 dogs.
probable more
