Ogden
A mixed flock of approx 150 rooks and jackdaws with one common gull and two crows feeding in a field adjoining Syke Farm Syke Lane at 4.00 p m today. Estimated one third rooks and two thirds jackdaws.
Re Jackdaws: Just thought i'd mention that in East Lancashire we have had a few cracking, well marked Nordic birds amongst the Jackdaw flocks recently. They are well worth looking for amongst birds in your area, if you haven't been checking already.
