Geese
Les Midgley reports arond 250 Geese heading west on Monday 31/12/07. They were too high to be certain of species. Seen from top of Jay House Lane up Clifton. He also reports he has not seen any Tree Sparrows for weeks now, are they still using the garden feeders up Jayhouse Lane ?
I had an E mail from Martyn Hayes who had 170 Pink feet over King Cross on Monday, perhaps part of the same movement? Not sure about the Tree Sparrow situation, I know Sean Gray has ringed at least one bird there recently.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Hi Nick
I am still working on Les for his records for you, especially Tree Sparrow.
Cheers, it's likely Les will have more Tree Sparrow info than the rest of us put together!
