Merlin book raffle

Just a reminder that there's still time to get your raffle tickets for the signed copies of the Merlin book (see earlier post), just E mail me with how many you would like and and I'll do the rest. As well as the books there have been several other prizes added to the raffle including wine, port and a "special brew" from Niall's cellar!

Looking forward to seeing as many local birders as possible on Sunday, current attendance looks to be in the region of 25 to 30 so it should be quite an event.

Hi all
As a little extra fun interest and extra fund raising on Sunday night I will be running some "blind auctions".The idea is we hold an auction but you have no idea what you are bidding on ! You are allowed to examine the mystery package on auction and judge weight and what you think it is, you are even allowed to shake the package, but be careful your prize could be ruined ! The highest bidder on each auction gets the prize. The prizes are all worth winning, not some cheapo crap so no one will be ripped off if they bid. Just to spice it up a bit, they might or might not be book prizes !
