halifax harbour grenada.just outside the area!
sorry, but i could not resist this.taken today at a place called 'halifax harbour' so at least it has something to do with the blog. green withens tropical
I once sat and watched a green heron taking damp pieces of bread out of a pond that tourists had thrown in for the fish. It would squeeze the water out, and lay it on the surface. If it began to sank, it would repeat the process, until a fish came up to eat the bread and then WHAM! Brilliant use of bait.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
