this am on the way to work 1 kestrel and 6 carrion crows by the m62 plantation,
this evening
sanderling 1 adult summer on the north shore by the pumphouse
dunlin 1
common sandpiper 2
curlew 5
golden plover 2
wheatear 2
swallow 2 flew north
the sanderling was still present when i left feeding on the rocky shoreline.
though i was only joking on nk's post about a sniper rifle,i think the f15 that flew over this evening is slightly over the top, even by american standard's!!!!!
f15 (just noticed the pilot is looking at me!)

my green withens blog is back up and running

Well spotted on the Sanderling, that could have been and gone undetected.
The F15 should do nicely for the Quad bikes, can I borrow it when youve finished with it.
Excellent find,it just shows what a good spot you have picked.124 so far
