Around and about

Had a drive round today one at lunch time coming back from Todmorden via Cross Stones and onto Widdop Rd. Then this evening up Cragg Rd to Ringstone and back.

A Heron was flying over the bus depot in Todmorden and several pairs of Lapwings displaying in fields around Cross Stones.

Later a flock of approx 30/40 Fieldfare heading up the Valley seen from Cragg Rd, at Ringstone itself nothing at the feeding station but 2 Goosander one male one female on the Res were joined by 6 more as I was leaving incl at least one other male.
