I assume all the work that's going on is for a purpose, what are they planning to do up there?
We,ve been told that it is just a ground firming and levelling operation from the quarry days. Its then supposed to be top soiled and left to nature? Mainly because the plans for a ski slope have gone belly up because of the marshland at the bottom. We live in hopes. BS
"Left to nature" could this give us an opportunity to suggest they planted the area up with suitable seed plants for Finches etc? The Calderdale Seeds Project is currently harvesting seed from flower rich donor meadows.
