Jumble Hole

Had a quick look this morning for lesser spotted woodpecker, as Jumble Hole was a stronghold until the mid 90's, but unsuprisingly didn't see or hear anything of them. I'll keep trying though!
2 GS woodpecker
1 green woodpecker
9 bullfinch
2 mistle thrush
1 dipper
12 long tailed tits
multiple blue and great tits!

I had a tip for Lesser at Shibden Park. It looks like the kids are back at school so the parks become habitable again.

Will be interested in any sightings Matt I'll do likewise. I'm looking for a lifer here!

I find the best place for Lesser Pecker is at the back of the crematorium at Elland.Plains lane is at the side of the large Chinese rest go up here and walk up to the wood.Tree sparrow ,Yellowhammer and willow Tit have all been seen in the area as well.Or take the path opposite the car park(avocet end) at EGP into the wood early March is the best time.
