Warley Moor

Black Redstart with 2 Wheatears on the piles of stones at Slade. The farm just after the wind farm car park at Ovenden Moor but elusive this aft till at least 3pm.
A scope is a big help !
Also just out our our recording area, another Black Red near Oxenhope this morning.

Nothing to report today on yesterday's Hoopoe above Cottonstones

Not an easy bird to find at that distance Dave, well spotted.
A single Wheatear appeared briefly about an hour after you had gone landing on the nearest pile of stones but all went quiet again as more rain poured down.

And there was I thinking you were the Black Redstart specialist John !
Need a dry calm day Bri then we might get another chance for it...with a bit of luck. Still nice to be getting Wheatears as well.
