Luddenden Dean

We spent mid morning in the upper dean starting from Jerusalem Farm.
Pretty quiet on then whole with mist on the tops and persistent light drizzle but the coffee etc and Hot X bun was nice !.
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker calling by J Farm
1 Green Woodpecker near the Lower Lodge and probably a different bird singing lower down the dean
c30 Fieldfares in the fields near Saltonstall
c20 Redwings and 2 Mistle Thrush near Spa Wood and a Goldcrest in bushes along the track
2 Siskins on the feeders by 'The Lowe' along with Nuthatch and a good number of Blue, Great and Coal Tits, Chaff's, Greenfinch and Goldfinch.
