Yes they are Whoopers Phil but it's always worth checking with photos just in case of a Bewick's with them.
Sorry for late reply Dave, been up The Lakes for a couple of days. Spotted, what I'm fairly sure, was my first Woodcock whilst up there, only a glimpse but was nice to see :)
Thanks for the confirmation on the Whoopers, I did have a good look at all 11 and they all look identical to me, cheers
