Can anyone tell me. Is it possible to access this site or is it views from the canal bank only?
Access to the settling beds area is not possible, its all fenced and locked but you can get an alternative view from the opposite side of the river. I haven't been over there for a while but if you head towards Sowerby Bridge down Hollins Mill lane (towards The Puzzle)it used to be possible to cross the river on a bridge, once over the river turn right and cross the football pitch and into the woods, the settling beds at the "back" of High Royd can be viewed from there.
