Ogden Garden
It seems to have been a good breeding season for garden birds. In the last month we have had young blue tits, great tits, coal tits, goldfinches, siskins, chaffinches, greenfinches robins dunnocks and great spotted woodpeckers [ at least three]at our garden feeders.
Similar results lower down Wheatley valley with lots of young Blue,Great and Coal Tits. Young Siskins is interesting as the adults don't seem to have been around until early June in Ogden plantation and I was wondering if they were returning birds as failed breeders from further north. Looks like maybe they have bred locally which is good news.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
