Bird Report
Nick Dawtrey has asked me to remind everyone of the importance of bird report sales in ensuring the following years report can be financed, this year has seen a significant downturn in sales of the current report. Copies are still for sale at Woodlesford Newsagents on Moorend Road and are also available from myself or Nick (phone 01422 364228). Reports cost £5 each or £5-60 including postage. Pease help to support the archive as well as getting an informative and interesting read!

Do the tourist info centres have them?
Apparently the Piece Hall has turned them down as they haven't sold enough of the earler editions, we are currently trying Todmorden, could you mention it in the Hebden TIC?
I can definately do that.
Hi Guys
How much does it cost to produce the report and could you not do it yourselves on the laser printer donated to Andy C ?
If impossible to produce yourselves why nor ask for donations from local businesses ? I would be happy to give a donation as Pennine Books.
Final question, why are sales of the report falling when birding has never been more popular or is that a silly question in short arms deep pockets Yorkshire :-))
We already have sponsorship from Pennine Optics, I'm not sure why Nick doesn't use the printer perhaps there are too many?
Don't know why local report sales are poor, this is one for those local birders who haven't bought one to answer!
Nick - if you haven't already spoken to Todmorden Information Centre please speak to Jacqui, the manager, and mention my name. I'm secretary of the TIC Trust.
.... then I'll buy one from there!
Sandra
Thanks Sandra, Nick D is unable to post on the blog at the moment but assures me he will be in contact with Tod in the near future.
