Jumble Hole - 6:00pm

Usual woodland stuff, but precious few migrants other than willow warb's and swallow. There's time yet I suppose.......

Whiteholme

2 "Commic" Terns flew west this afternoon. An addition to the Ringstone records for today is a Greenland Wheatear mid afternoon.

Ringstone Edge

Latest text message received from Ringstone quoted 5 Ringed Plovers and 12 Dunlin now present with "waders arriving all the time". This movement appears to have been mirrored at Thornton Moor res (just outside Calderdale) where David Barker also reported Dunlin and Ringed Plover.

Ringstone

12 Dunlin, 2 Oystercatchers and 1 Ringed Plover at Ringstone today (John Beaumont)

Cold Edge Dams

Despite the heavy rain managed to find a pair of Tufted Duck, 2 Common Sandpipers and a Redshank but very little else!
