Swales Moor

Ringby Lane late morning. Not a lot to report other than a nice juvenile Stonechat along the lane at the top of the hill.
A few Meadow Pipits and Linnets along with a solitary Skylark.
A few Swifts and Swallows.
A few corvids and 10+ Lesser Black-back Gulls loafing around on the top near the processing plant.

Stonechats are in short supply this year.
See Bradshaw Johns report, 2 juv 1 ad Wheatear on Soil Hill.

Stonechat must be your middle name Dave - nice one.

Yes in short supply Bri after that wet winter let's hope we turn up a few chats this Autumn - especially Whinchat as still searching for my first this year. I'm still after your little Ogden gem, John.
