Bridestones, Todmorden. 12:00

- A flock of 35 pink feet flew up the valley from Hebden Bridge to Todmorden, then appeared to turn to fly up the valley towards Cornholme and Cliviger
- A late wheatear was a nice surprise. It looked noticably big & bright. Is a Greenland still a possibility at this time of year?
- A raven was around most of the time
- 2 juv herring gulls flew west
- Lost count of meadow pipits! 90+, certainly

yes Greenland Wheatear is highly likely at this time, indeed I think they are more likely with some coming from as far as NE Canada it probably takes some of them until October to reach us although tee i.d. in autumn can be tricky
