I've been going through my old records and came across this from September 1986 " usual large flock of Twite at top of Cragg Vale c200 today"....... and Gorple April 1990 " flock of returning Twite on burnt patch 71 birds present"
Ah those were the days. Your comment prompted me to look back to when we used to get Twite in the garden - 16 May 1991 is my last garden record, along with photos.
