I kept e mailing you Matt but you obviously didnt get them. The problem is when NK put his hillbilly site to the new blog version it put me on that also and now it wont let me back to contribute to Calderbirds on the old blog with either typing or photos ? If you dont mind sending an invite Ill try it otherwise I may have to get a new e mail address and get an invite to that. Cheers, Bri

Wow. I'm sorry Brian, I definately didn;t get any emails, otherwise I would have sorted it. My computer may have filtered them as spam!

I'll re-invite you and see if that cures it.

Hi Brian

I've tried to go back through the sequence I followed when I sorted it. Assuming you can view the Blog (but not post) it goes something like this (take a deep breath!)...

On the calderbirds screen click on "Blog This" at the top, this gives a window that says "New to Blogging?"

At the bottom of the text bit it says "Do you Blog on an old blogger? and then gives an option to "click here" to log in.

When you click on this it gives a sign in screen, enter your username and password and click sign in.

Then you have to enter your Google account password which I was prompted to set up when I transferred to the new Blogger, I assume you have done this also? If so enter the password you chose and this should open a window known as the "dashboard" listed on which are the Blogs you have access to, select the Calderbirds Blog and away you go.

I can't pretend to understand what I've done I just followed the prompts and it worked!

Now I am confused!! I just tried to post another picture by clicking on "Blog this" and it opened a window telling me I had no accounts on this Blogger. Over to you Matt!

Tried what you said Nick thanks but tried this way before and it says this service not available.
Also tried your invite thanks Matt with same results. Back to the drawing board. Bri

Would it help (or for that matter hinder!) if I 'updated' the blog to the new version - as Hillybilly did??

Google say that all blogs will have to be updated to the new version shortly .All I had to do when hillbilly updated was create a google account like Nick has done which costs nowt and only takes a few minutes.Dont do it just on my account cos owt can happen with computers when you alter something although Nigel didnt seem to have any bother, on your head be it ?
