Technical problems

From time to time, some people have been experiencing technical issues with them posting to the blog. The extent of my IT knowledge is limited, though I help when and where I can.
However, many issues can be resolved yourselves by going to http://help.blogger.com/ and either looking at the FAQ's, or running a search.
Again, I will always help where I can, but don't just wait for me! I work away alot and don't always have consistent web access.

I'm guessing you've "upgraded" to the new version of Blogger and that's when the right column stuff fell over the diary pages? It does all work but it looks untidy and spoils some of the very good pix on the blog. I've doodled about in the template with the HTML with my own Blog and have managed to shift some things about in the right column. if i get a minute i'll experiment a bit and see if i can suggest a solution to this issue - I'll have to mail it on to you though Matt as I can't change that myself - would that be useful?

Yes, that would be useful

However, we haven't 'upgraded' to the new version - maybe we should??

If as Brian (I think it was) says everyone will have to eventually lets do it now. I meant to mention it when I saw you yesterday but if I can help just let me know.

OK have migrated my Blog to the new version. Issues listed onboard. I don't think it will immediately sort the right column issue but ... there appear to be template jiggering tools available that should help sort and maybe smarten. Folk may all have to create Google ids and logins, I think so, however there are some advantages in doing that - you can sign up for GMail as well as it's been released to the hoipolloi n'all.
