Swales Moor

Ringby Lane this afternoon

Quiet sky with no wind and nothing moving other than 5 Herring Gulls >N.
In the fields, some recently ploughed, there were plenty birds taking advantage of the worms etc ..
160+ Common Gulls (mostly adults)
2 Black-headed Gulls
100+ Carrion Crows
140+ Jackdaws
c30 Magpies
A good show of Meadow Pipits with c35 alongside a single Pied Wagtail but not a sign of any Skylarks today.
3 Stock Dove
1 Wren
Distant Kestrel over Shibden Valley and a flock of 30+ Lapwings over towards Shelf Moor.

Nearly forgot.... - 5 Fieldfares in the 'mipit' field.
