Mixenden Res'r etc...

Mixenden Res'r
Great Northern Diver still there first thing this morning and again mid afternoon.
Also 6 Whooper Swans turned up today and found by Muxy and Pete around noon - thanks for passing the info on via Nick D and BS respectively.
We got down there for 13:00 and Jen picked out an Oystercatcher on the embankment. We don't often get Oyc's in winter in Calderdale so that was a good find !
GND and Whoopers still there at 14:30 (AC)

The Barnacle Goose is still there with 11 Canadas and a Greylag Goose
1 Meadow Pipit
c25 Fielfares and 1 Redwing in a thorn bush eating berries near the golf course
1 Kestrel

1 Kestrel
c70 Mallard
We checked carefully through the Black-headed and Common Gulls ! (never know what might turn up with them in these westerly gales)!!
