Mystery photo





Came across these tracks with DS in the valley. Any ideas.....stoat? weasel? I don't think they are Roe Deer, but other tracks in the area did look like deer.

v v hard to tell from pics

do you know fox?

if they're bigger than weasel (you ask re deer) and some of it's caused by dragging forelegs in snow how about fox - if prints essentially in a line.

in less deep snow prints look like lined up single file diamond footprint - like someone bounded along on a pogo stick!

we had so9me tracks similar to this and i thought that they were blackbirds jumbing in the bouncing action
