Fly Flatts/High Brown Knoll

Grey Wagtails at Fly Flatts this morning were looking good.

Also seen were 2 R. L. Partridge and 2 pairs of Stonechats nearby both feeding young. Several Wheatears around (c12)

No Twite today at the feeding station but 2 pairs of Common Sandpipers on the res'r along with 9 Greylag Geese.

Checked High Brown Knoll (the Dotterell spot in 2005) but without success. Golden Plover and Dunlin there along with several Red Grouse on the moor. Also 1 Sand Martin over the moor going east.

Also nearby were 2 Oystercatchers in Crimsworth Dean and Lapwing have small chicks now. No sign of any Ring Ouzel in the usual spots
