Cold Edge

 This morning. Temperature and conditions totally unprecedented up here. Not living up to it's name at all ! No sign of any migrants in the small plantations other than a Willow Warbler half singing.

Lower Dam

6 Teal kept flying in then out due to disturbance. 1 female Tufted Duck. 1 Grey Heron, 1 Moorhen

1 Common Sandpiper on the island along with a few Black-headed Gulls and a single Lesser Black-backed Gull

Spring Mill Dam

2 Little Grebe and some juvenile Mallard along with a Buzzard sitting on  a nearby post

2 Kestels, 2 Stonechats, a pair of Pied Wagtails, a few Reed Buntings, Linnets, Goldfinch and Meadow Pipits and a Greenfinch.

No Swifts, just a few Swallows plus the usual species
