Waxwings

Sainsbury's Halifax and lower end of bus station - c25 Waxwings this morning around 11:15 (from PG) but when I finished the shop they had disappeared with a Sparrowhawk circling over Wickes. Plenty of Blackbirds and a few Redwings around Sainsbury's car park and a Grey Wagtail flyover. Good to meet Pete down there and have a chat.

Lane Head area of Brighouse and especially the west end of Piggot Street - still up to 50 Waxwings there this morning (Birdguides) (DF)

Adult Peregrine, probably a male, arrived to sit on the collar of the big chimney at Dean Clough late morning.
